Discovered a blast from the past today! stumbled across a website called thehiddenbookcase.com - and ended up browsing through the covers of every Sweet Valley High/Twins/University book ever published!!! In highschool i loved Sweet Valley University books!!! i bought every copy i could get my hands on!!! Man it was great browsing, all those images triggering memories of the 15-year-old bookworm i used to be. it was classic! Thanks to the maker of that website for allowing me this trip down memory lane :)

Great Books I've recently read:

add new fave author to the list

I've found another author to add to my list of fave's - Philippa Gregory!!!
I first noticed her when i was wondering through a store and there was a display of a new book - 'The Constant Princess'.
The picture on the cover tweaked my interest and my love for all things 'old-time-royal'. Since i was a poor student at the time i had to stick to wishing for it. The the movie preview for The Other Boleyn Girl came out and i knew i HAD to go see it - my love for all things 'Tudor'! Then her name popped up in the preview and - since if wasn't a poor student anymore - whent and snatched up the book!!! I loved every minute of it. That book whent with me everywhere i whent!
I've recently gotten 'The White Queen' and it got me through a particularly long bout of the flu.
Since Philippa Gregory's name was on the cover i also bought 'Alice Hartley's Happiness'. A little strange at first but am getting into it. Although i think the Tudor series will definitely stay my absolute favourite and i just have to buy every single book that is out in that bunch!!!
But the closest to my heart will always be 'The Other Boleyn Girl'.
Thank you Philippa for writing about a story that has fascinated me for years!!!
finally arrived at the weekend portion of a very long week!!! looking forward to some relaxation until its off to work for sunday shift again.
Ugh!!!

Wiiiiiiiiiiiiii

So now that everyone has gotten over the initial Wii-excitement, i've finally gotten into it.

After my second 'session' my arms are screaming in pain (especially the right one) and yet i'm loving it and making plans for more (see we don't actually have one, but we have friends :)

So far i suck, but that will hopefully change :)
